Bridge project to cost $1.4 million
Wellington County will spend nearly $1.4 million on the rehabilitation of the Conestogo bridge at Wallenstein.
Wellington County council approved a roads committee recommendation to award the tender for the project to McLean Taylor Construction Limited of St. Mary’s for $1,388,090 not including HST.
The bid was the lowest of six for the rehabilitation of the bridge, which crosses over the Conestogo River on Wellington Road 86. The project is expected to begin in March.
