BOUWMAN, Grace Geesje
Passed away peacefully in her 91st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Charles (2018). Dear father of Gary (Susan), Carol (Manny), Jeffrey (Kathleen), Kevin (Anne) and Darren (Dawn Anne). She was a proud Oma and Grandma to 13 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Grace is survived by siblings John (Helen), Peter (Lois), Henry, Stella (Harry) and Clara (Pete). She is predeceased by sisters Margaret and Lily. Grace will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Special thanks to all the amazing nurses, doctors, and staff at Groves Memorial Hospital that provided such wonderful care and compassion for our mother during this difficult time. Also thank you to Dr. Pridham and the Elora Medical Group team. Mom had a short stay at her new home in Heritage River but we thank all the staff for welcoming her and the great care they all gave her. A private funeral service has been held for Grace’s family. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
