BOOKBINDER, Oscar Imre

Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Sunday July 7th, 2019. Oscar, in his 94th year, was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Clara (2017). Oscar’s sharp wit and marvelously dry sense of humor were matched only by his love of dogs and cats, especially Lily, Verusch and Martzie. The Bookbinders were beloved music teachers who taught piano in both Toronto and Rockwood. Oscar will be missed by friends and neighbours, as well as former students and their families. Special thanks to Pam for her care and kindness over the past few years. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Oscar and Clara’s life will take place later in the summer. Memorial donations made to Hospice Wellington or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
