PALMERSTON - Recently a group of Blessings to You Centre volunteers and friends toured The Grove Hub youth centre in Palmerston.

Town of Minto wellness and youth coordinator Jessica Martin - and Jeff Hoffman - chief development officer for the Grove Hub hosted the tour. The Grove Hubs in Wellington County provide youth aged 12- to 26 with guidance and support to access over 30 organizations, including education and career support, health care, housing services, counselling and peer-to-peer programs, not to mention being a recreational space to “just hang out.”

All proceeds from The Blessings to You Centre (Blessings Thrift and Gift Store) are put back into the community and its donation to the The Grove was well received.

“By continuing to donate to the Blessings Thrift Store, you are a partner in reaching out to the needs of Palmerston and the surrounding area,” officials state.
