BLENDER, Helen
Helen passed away peacefully with her family by her side, in the care of Louise Marshall Hospital, in Mount Forest. Helen will be deeply missed by her three children Claus, Helmut (Nathalie), and Heidi (Stephen). She will be remembered with love by her grandchildren Dustin, Andrea, Stephanie, Samantha and Benjamin. The family would like to thank all the physicians, nursing, and support staff at Louise Marshall Hospital involved in her care. It made Helen’s final days ones of peace, comfort and dignity. Deepest gratitude to the staff at Strathcona LTC for creating a homelike environment where she was able to make friends, dance, laugh, and find peace. Helen was very proud of her heritage, being an involved member of the Toronto Donau Schwaben German/Yugoslavian Club, where she also taught traditional dance to children and youth groups. Helen will be laid to rest with her parents, in her hometown in Germany. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
