BLAND, David Meredith

Passed away peacefully with his cherished wife and family by his side on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the age of 92. Son of Cynthia J. Huard Bland and Peter Bertram Bland brother of Valerie. Beloved husband of Ursula (Plohmann) Bland, loving dad of Randy Bland and Wanda, Tom Bland and Beth, Susan Cameron, Jennifer Vesak and Darryl, Sabrina Frank and Tom, and Melanie Frank and Jean-Sebastien, loving grandfather to 16 and great-grandfather to 5.  He had a lifelong love of sailing, and travel, and was a true advocate for the protection and preservation of the environment and wildlife. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 2:00pm at Jones Funeral Home, Georgetown, ON.
