It is with deep sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Lloyd Austin Black at Groves Memorial Community Hospital on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Predeceased by his parents Evelyn and Russ Black. Beloved father of Caitlin and Linsey Black. Loved brother of Bonnie (Bob) Mather of Chatham. Dear uncle of Jen (Brian) White and Greg Mather. Great uncle of Evy, Beckett and Norah White. Lloyd was a long time employee of Zehrs Markets and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #275, Fergus. A private family interment will be held at Belsyde Cemetery. A Celebration of Lloyd’s life will be held on Saturday, November 27th, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00pm at the Fergus Legion, (500 Blair St.). All attendees MUST wear a mask and provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and identification prior to entering the Legion. Donations may be made to Groves Memorial Hospital or the Fergus Legion.
