Our remarkable husband, dad, papa, great-papa, son, brother, uncle, father-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin, neighbour and friend overflowed with love and with joy for life. With his witty, engaging spirit he met every precious day of his life with integrity and with wonder. He bettered all our lives and ever will be our hero. Jim’s cremated remains will join his dear wife and special angel, Peggy at Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus, and in Elliot Lake (literally). Family and friends will gather for Jim’s interment at Belsyde Cemetery on Wednesday, September 25 at 1pm. A celebration of beloved Jim will follow at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Fergus at 2pm. In lieu of flowers or donations, please enjoy sharing stories with your loved ones. Anyone who knew Jim knew he could spin a beautiful yarn and make the past come alive sharing family history.
