Birmingham Retirement Community hosted a Lovers Luncheon
Lovers Luncheon - On Feb. 12, Mount Forest’s Birmingham Retirement Community hosted two couples from the local area, for a complimentary Lovers Luncheon in the private dining room. From left: Roy and Darlene Galbraith married 16 years, and Mary Beth and Bill Cockburn married 66 years. The couples met for the first time upon invitation from Maija McCahery, marketing manager at Birmingham. Roy and Darlene are senior apartment residents at Birmingham, and it was at the Birmingham Community that they first met and were married 16 years ago. Mary Beth and Bill were both born and raised locally in Mount Forest, raised their family here and remained as residents all their 90 plus years.
