Big Brothers Big Sisters hosts volleyball fundraiser
CENTRE WELLINGTON – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington (BBBS) held a fundraising volleyball tournament at Elora Public School on Feb. 8. James Scott at Move CW was the sponsor and many players in the tournament came from its volleyball program. BBBS board secretary Sara Hipson said the organization needs both funds and volunteers so kids on the waiting list can be matched with an adult mentor. The commitment from mentors is usually one hour per week for a year.
