BERRY, Barbara Elizabeth

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Barbara Elizabeth Berry on September 25, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on June 4, 1937, in Guelph, Ontario and passed peacefully in Mount Forest, Ontario. Beloved and dedicated wife of the late Roland James Berry (2009). Cherished sister to Irene Cole, Loving Aunt to Lindsay and her husband Larry, Close Cousin to Diana Anderson, and Treasured Great Aunt to Hunter. She will be missed by all Friends and Extended family. Barbara was raised on the Blue Springs Line. Where she learned to drive a tractor and had the run of the farm. She then moved to Toronto, Ontario for many of her former years. She was proud to be working as an associate at Simpsons Department store. While she was working in Toronto she met her husband Roland James Berry. Family meant a great deal to Barbara and relationships were always nurtured with patience and devotion. Later in life Barbara returned with her husband to Acton, her hometown, and was employed at the Town of Halton where she later retired. The passing of Barbara leaves a space that cannot be filled. Yet the memories, lessons, and moments shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Barbara will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, 762 Woolwich St, Guelph, ON N1H 3Z1. On Friday, October 23rd, at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Georgetown Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
