Bernier fan

RE: Going Green, Aug. 1.

I hate to break it to Ron Moore, but it was Maxime Bernier who was robbed of the leadership of the Conservative Party by Andrew Scheer.

Luckily, it worked out fine because Bernier founded the People’s Party of Canada, a true conservative party dedicated to freedom and personal responsibility.

The comparison with Doug Ford is stark! Ford lost the mayoralty, won the Ontario PC leadership and became Premier of Ontario in a landslide vote in less than six months!

Bernier has adapted to his Conservative Party leadership loss in a strikingly similar way. Now Bernier is the only leader who dares to think way outside of the box.

“Mad Max” may be just mad enough to become the next Prime Minister of Canada.
