It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ernie at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, Ontario, on February 25, 2022, in his 89th year. Loving father to Wendy Fendley of Kitchener, Rick (Vicky) of Fergus, Patti of Fergus, Donna Mulder of Belwood, Becky (Jack) deWilde of Fergus, Tammy of MacTier, and daughter-in-law of Joanne of Salem. Dear grandfather of ten and great-grandfather of seventeen. Dear brother of Shirley Fawcett of Toronto and Ron (Joan) of Calgary, AB. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Yvonne (McKenzie; 2021), son Kim (2016), his parents Violet (Hall; 2003) and Byron (1986), and brother Barney (2013). There will be no visitation or funeral service as per Ernie’s request. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467.
