BARBER, Janet Alice
Passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband James F. Barber (2013). Survived by her 4 sons and their families. Brian and Gianna of Glen Williams (Tara and Charlie, Brendon and Theresa, and Robert and Lyra); Grant and Janice of Potomac Maryland (Philip and Alexandra, Lauren and Christopher); Graham and Jo-Ann of Barrie (Kyle and Landon and Randi); Donald and Shari of Stratford (Andrew, Matthew and Rachael). Along with 3 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, and former daughter-in-law Lynn Barber. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Agnes McEwing, one brother (Ross) and one sister (Jean). A private family service will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 11:00am. The service will be live streamed. For those who wish to view, the link will be available through the funeral home website. Interment at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Janet to Alzheimer’s Society Foundation of Canada or Groves Memorial Hospital.
