BANNISTER, Gordon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Allan Bannister, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, George and Evelyn Bannister (née Coleman). He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his devoted wife, Judy Bannister (née O’Donnell), and his children: Tina (Donnie) Miller, Debbie (Greg) Witzel, Penny (Kyle) Boyd, and Dale (Nancy) Bannister. Gordon was a proud and loving grandfather to Tyler, Shaelyn, Hudson, Rayna, Lilah, Chancellor, Ava, Colton, and Georgia. Above all else, Gordon cherished his family. Some of his happiest memories were made taking his children camping, spending long summer days soaking up the sun, and cheering them on from the sidelines at their sporting events. Gordon also had a lifelong passion for anything with an engine. Whether it was cars, trucks, or anything else that rumbled to life, he could always be found admiring, tinkering with, or talking about motors. Gordon will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the family he loved so dearly. Details regarding a celebration of life will be shared with family and friends at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Arthur.
