Bandmates pay tribute to late Stompin’ Tom Connors
ERIN — Stompin’ Tom Connors’ bandmates Billy MacInnis and Duncan Fremlin performed three sold-out tribute concerts at Theatre Orangeville recently.
They stopped by the Erin cemetery on Sept. 16 to pay their respects to Connors by playing a few of his favourite classic tunes, accompanied on the guitar by musician and Erin radio host Bryce Butcher.
Tom’s widow Lena Connors, maintains and decorates Connors’ grave for regular visits from loyal fans.
