Ballantyne re-elected to AMO board
OTTAWA – Wellington County councillor Diane Ballantyne has been re-elected to the Association of Municipalities of Ontario’s board of directors.
The AMO board, made up of municipal representatives from across the province, meets five times a year to discuss municipal issues and develop policy positions and reports.
Ballantyne, who previously served a two-year term from 2024 to 2026, stated in a news release she is “honoured” to continue serving on the board and representing the county for the 2026-28 term.
County Warden Chris White congratulated Ballantyne stating she “will be a very strong voice and advocate” for the county and Ontarians.
