It is with great sadness that Steve’s family share his sudden passing while on vacation with his partner Kathleen, in Costa Rica. Steve will be missed by his daughters Cassandra (Charles), Elizabeth (Greg), his friend and mother of his children Sue, mother June Ball (predeceased by his father Albert Ball 2007), sisters Connie (Ian), Christine (Sylvain), Laurie (Greg), his nieces and nephews, his Nottingham Street Neighbour Family, members of Kathleen’s family and his many friends and colleagues at the University of Guelph. Steve was always quick to offer help to anyone in need. Steve loved the sun, sand and ocean. To honour Steve’s love for animals donations may be made to the Guelph Humane Society. A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date.
