1927-2019 Passed away peacefully with his family present at the Wellington Terrace on March 28, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Gerda vandenBoom (2002). Loving father of Jack (Cheryl) Bakker, Shirley (Maurice) Obergan, Anne (Mike) vonHolstein and Jerry (Ann) Bakker. Cherished grandfather of Nick (Meg), Melissa (Brandon), Jason, Erica (Jordan), Scott (Jacqueline), Amanda (Kevin), Matthew and Nathan. Proud great grandfather of 5. Thank you to the staff at the Wellington Terrace for their wonderful care and support during Tony’s stay. A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South, Fergus. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ponsonby Park or a charity of your choice.
