Surrounded by his family & his loved furry companion Maggie, at his home in Simcoe on Wednesday, January 18th, 2023 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Lois Awrey of Simcoe. Loving father & grandfather of Louise Schebesch (Paul) of Simcoe, children Elton & Abbey; Donald Awrey (Christina) of Simcoe, children Terance (Kourtney), Brianne & Jessica Hanson (Cole); Lisa Otterman (Dale Driver) of Simcoe, children Kyle, Cameron, Lauren, Jasmine & Brendan; and David Awrey (Joan) of Simcoe, children Rylea & Megann. Sadly missed by his siblings; Shirley Freeman (Edward) of Acton & Ross Awrey (Leona) of Simcoe. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. A private family service will be held at the grave side. A celebration of life will be Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Junior Farmer’s Building, 172 South Drive, Simcoe, Ontario from 1pm to 4pm.
