The Carpenter is not okay. The Seattle Seahawks have traded star quarterback Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos. 

I’m dedicating this column to the man who always has my back, my partner in life, the Carpenter. And yes, this will be mushy. Prepare yourself accordingly. 

You can be in a relationship for a long time and still learn new things about your partner over the years. Shocking things, even. 

Maybe you need the reminder as much as I do: there is good in this world.

Christmas already feels like a distant memory, but a good one all the same. My family came through with two interesting gifts for me: a “start” gift and a “stop” gift. Brilliant.

Well, Santa, we’re nearing the big day and I can only speak for myself when I say, it’s going to be what it’s going to be and I haven’t got an ounce of energy left to care about what it isn’t going to be, so let’s get this holiday going and let the tinsel fall where it may.
