AUGER, Gerda Helene Catherine (nee Gerding)

of R.R. #1 Moorefield passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, December 10, 2018 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of David W. Auger for 52 years. Sister of Mary and Pete Welter, Clara and Russell Devine, Tilly and Ken Streitenberger, Mildred and Lawrence Siwak and Bernadette Beardmore. Sister-in-law of Phyllis and Frank Salem, Mary Auger and Mattie Auger. Cherished aunt to her numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Albert Gerding, Aloysus Gerding in infancy and Benedict Gerding, sisters Margaret Black and Agnes Hills, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Vera and Jim Craigen, Robert (Bert) and Martha Auger, Garth Auger, R. Barrie Auger, Keith and Joyce Auger, Joan Parnell and Gail Auger. To honour Gerda’s wishes cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy donation to The Canadian Cancer Society or your Local Foodbank would be appreciated by the family and can be made through the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton.
