ARRUDA, Patricia Ann
On Wednesday, October 21, 2020, Patricia Ann “Pat” Arruda, loving mother to Maria Miller and Michelle Arruda, passed away on her 79th birthday at Huronlea in Brussels, Ontario. Pat was born on October 21, 1941, near Belgrave, Ontario, to parents Clifford Richard Logan and Dorothy Alberta Vincent. Her two brothers, Barry Michael (Isabelle) and Clifford Ralph (Linda) still reside in Huron County. Pat married the late Americo Vicente Arruda on November 7, 1964, and lived in Toronto for over 20 years before locating to Fergus in 1985. Pat originally studied to become a Mother’s Craft Well-Baby Nurse and later stayed at home with the girls. Pat will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness and infectious laugh. She was a fun and loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be forever missed. Visitation was held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Saturday, October 24th and a private funeral service followed. Interment will take place in Brandon Cemetery, Belgrave, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Huron County or the Huronlea Residents’ Council would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
