ARKELL, (Robert) Bruce
passed away peacefully on January 2nd after a short battle with cancer surrounded by his loving family. He was in his 75th year. He was a man who had so much love to share and in return was loved dearly. He was an active contributing member of the community. A member of the Elora Legion for 46 years. He was on the executive staff for the Elora Mohawks for many years and loved to support the team and watch all of their games! He was a member of the Elora Village Cruisers and you could catch him on stage with the Not So Grand players. He retired from GSW at 60 years old and managed the Dalby House in Elora for 5 years after that. He was the cherished husband of Florence Arkell (Goodall), best father of Kim (Liam Finnegan), Pam, and Steven (Deanna Arkell). Amazing Papa to Brenndan (Morgan), Brooke (Aaron), Michael, Tyler, Brodie, Thalia, Naomi and Olivia and Great Grandfather to Torin. Survived by his sister in law Marci Arkell. We will have a celebration of life on January 26 from 2:00 - 4:00pm at the Elora Legion upstairs. He will be dearly missed by all.
