Another success for Sensational Elora
Organizers celebrated the taste of success at Sensational Elora’s recent Soup Off and Empty Bowls event over the Thanksgiving weekend.
On Oct. 20, that success was remarked upon by members of Centre Wellington council.
Councillor Kirk McElwain added “We exceeded the number of people taking part from last year and more bowls were sold. It keeps growing every year.”
He estimated that since the event began, it has been able to donate roughly $80,000 to the food bank and the Centre Wellington District High School breakfast program.
