Animal bylaw

Dear Editor:

This is a request for every dog owner in Centre Wellington to familiarize themselves with the proposed animal control bylaw.  Copies are available at the Elora township office and online on their website.

Comments are requested prior to Aug. 16 and the website hosts a forum for comments as well. Make them while there is time to do so.

This bylaw also affects: cats, pigeons, chickens and other small animals as well as reptiles.

Many of us will be subject to these revisions, if passed, for a long time so I encourage all to thoroughly understand what is being proposed, express your feelings and be involved.

Stand up and be counted.
