GUELPH - If you’re into folk, bluegrass, jazz, great instrumentation and fun musical times, you’ll be delighted to know the Andrew Collins Trio will be at the River Run Centre on Nov. 4, 8pm, for a foot-stomping good time.

Collins has been nominated for a Juno award five time and won seven Canadian Folk Music Awards with some of his other bands - Foggy Hogtown Boys, and the Creaking Tree String Quartet.

In this show the trio will  showcase a popular collision of folk, trailblazing roots, bluegrass and jazz, not to mention a dizzying number and energetic interplay of instruments on stage.

Collins plays mandolin, fiddle, guitar, mandola and mandocello along with vocals.

Adam Shier plays guitar, mandolin and vocals, and James McEleney holds it down on bass, mandocello and vocals.

Tickets are $30 for adults, $28 for seniors, and $25 under 30. For more information or tickets, visit riverrun.ca.
