Amber Alert complaints

Dear Editor:

Here’s the response that all 911 dispatchers wish they could give when someone calls to complain about an Amber Alert.

“That’s fine sir/ma’m. I’ve made a note of your call. And if this should ever happen to a little loved one of yours, we won’t bother to send out an alert. Have a good day. Bye now.”
