ALTSCHUL, Henry
Was carried off by the angels in the early hours of Wednesday, May 12, 2021. He was born December 18, 1931 in Austria, moved to England, joined the RAF, moved to Canada lived a good life and passed in his 89th year, at home in Ariss Ontario, which was his wish. He was the loving husband and wonderful best friend of Sonja for 62 years. So loved by his children the late Diana (Jan 2020) and Timothy (Sue) and adored by his grandchildren Amber (Darren), Colin, Connor and Carson and great-grandson Ryley. Also proud grandfather of Ami (Adam) and Tom (Lindsay); and great-grandfather of Avery, Liam, Hayden and Graham. Predeceased by a daughter Susan (March 2020) from a prior brief marriage. A private funeral was held. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Henry Altschul in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
