Agriculture Education Day really ‘moo-ved’ students
Fergus Agricultural Society played host to 400 Grade 5 students to educated them about farming, agriculture, farm machinery and animals





1. Students learned about eggs at the Egg Farmers of Ontario booth during Agriculture Education Day. 2. Amelia Cigna, a Grade 5 student at Elora Public School, learned about growing beans and corn at one of the 28 stations students rotated through. 3. Students were excited to climb inside a huge combine during Agriculture Education Day. Here Jude Martin and Wesley Roth had a bird’s eye view of the grounds behind the glass. 4.All kinds of livestock was brought to the Fergus sportsplex for Agriculture Education Day, so Grade 5 students could learn more about where their food comes from. Sheep took centre stage in this booth. 5. Farm machinery has important functions on a farm, students learned at the Agriculture Education Day hosted by the Fergus Agricultural Society on June 3.
