Addition proposed to township building
A proposal is in the works to enlarge Arthur’s former municipal building.
Councillor Bob Mason said that a delegation was at a building and property committee meeting to discuss a proposed 1,600 square foot addition to the former Arthur municipal office plus a barrier free ramp.
He said drawings were also provided. Other discussion took place regarding the abandoned well, and possible geothermal and solar panels.
The committee passed a motion to hire an Ontario Land Surveyor to provide a property report of 146 George Street.
