Peacefully at the Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest on Monday, October 21, 2024 formerly of Flesherton and Toronto (Willowdale) in his 94th year. Beloved husband to the late Heather (2023). Loving father of Ross (Jill) of Mississauga and Scott of Rocklyn. Proud grandfather of Kevin, Madeline, James, Liam and Nathan. Dear brother of Shirley Peebles of Hanover. Predeceased by his parents Alec and Jessie Aberdein, sisters Donelda Wellwood, Erma Stephenson and her husband Jim, brothers Gerald “Jake” and Bill and his wife Janet. Survived by sister in-law Velma Aberdein and brother in-law Bryan Wellwood. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception Ltd., Flesherton Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 1:00pm until the time of service at 2:00pm. Cremation has taken place, interment Flesherton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest, or Centre Grey Health Services, Markdale would be gratefully appreciated.
