Abbas Wahab and Friends show brings comedy to Crown Harriston

HARRISTON – The Crown Harrison Cultural Centre is offering an evening of comedy on April 15.

Comedian Abbas Wahab will be joined by some of Canada’s rising comedic stars for what promotional material describes as “a night of raw and unfiltered comedy.”

Audiences are encouraged to “come with an open mind and leave your sensitivities at the door.”

A comedian and actor, Wahab has been a staple of the Toronto comedy scene for nearly a decade. He is a regular on CBC’s The Debaters and has been featured at Just For Laughs and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. 

Wahab has also made numerous TV appearances including Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Amazon Prime’s The Boys, CTV’s Children Ruin Everything, and The Handmaid’s Tale.

He is also creator and host of The Immigrant Section Podcast, a weekly comedy show showcasing Toronto’s rising ethnic talents. 

The April 15 show begins at 8pm at the Crown, located on Elora Street in downtown Harriston. Doors open at 7 and patrons are advised to arrive no later than 7:45pm.
