ELORA — A “Concert with Addy-Tude” was a fundraiser in memory of Addisson Hill, a 14-year-old Fergus youth who succumbed to sarcoma cancer in 2022. Hill made a strong impression at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto, where her optimism and humour had a positive impact on staff and patients alike. The Sept. 23 concert raised funds for sarcoma cancer and was organized by Team Addy in partnership with Riverfest Elora. It took place at the MacDonald Pavilion at the Elora Centre for the Arts. Four musicians – Lauren Roy, Sarah Harmer, Stacey Kay, and the Monowhales – performed to a very large crowd.

Dr. David Malkin, oncologist from Toronto, gave the crowd an insight into his work and how the money raised is helping his research work.
Youngsters enjoyed one of the bands while playing with a beach ball.
