MAPLETON – The Mapleton 4-H Heritage Club held its second meeting on May 9.

President Kate opened the meeting with the 4-H pledge.

The roll call was: “What countries have immigrated to Canada?”

Members made scones - one with cheese, another one with raisins - and the last batch was just good, old plain scones. The group also made apple cider.

The craft was peg knitting.

At the end of the meeting, members got to try the scones and apple cider.

The president closed the meeting with the 4-H motto.
