4-H: Art in the Park in Hillsburgh

An achievement day for the 4-H watercolour painting club was held on Aug. 15 in Hillsburgh during the Hillsburgh Fun Day.  Members set up their painting stations in the village’s small park. Club members could paint anything they wanted. Some paintings were abstract, others were of nature, and some were of fruit-filled bowl scenes.

All members who attended had fun painting their masterpieces. Many spectators stopped by to watch the members paint and observe the paintings we created.

Club members also have another achievement event where they can display paintings in the Fergus and Erin Fall Fairs. Members may choose to participate in one or both of these activities to complete their club.

Overall, this club was really fun, so if you enjoy painting or wish to learn more about water-painting, consider joining this 4-H club next year.
