100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington donate to Winter Wear Program

CENTRE WELLINGTON – On May 28, 100 Women Who Care Centre Wellington presented a cheque for $12,700 to the Community Resource Centre (CRC) of North and Centre Wellington, in support of its Winter Wear Program. The CRC purchases new winter coats, snow pants and winter boots for children living in low-income households. The Winter Wear Program enables families to focus limited funds on other living expenses and ensures all children have the same opportunity in their community, officials say.
