Children’s textile exhibit on at Mount Forest Museum and Archives

Children’s textile exhibit – The Children’s Hour is a current exhibit of children’s textiles at the Mount Forest Museum and Archives. The display recalls an era when clothing was made by hand in every home. Complimented with historical photographs and toys, the exhibit illustrates the skill and care that was so evident long ago.

This popular exhibit was interrupted by COVID-19 but is being held over until the end of the year. The event is open to the public Wednesdays from 1 to 5pm or book a visit by phoning 519-323-4755. At the same time, visitors can check out the Reading Room, which is also in the old post office under the clock tower.
