Weapon, drug charges for Mount Forest man

MOUNT FOREST – On April 30 at about 1:30am, Wellington County OPP investigated a vehicle parked at a business on Main Street South here.

Police say that while speaking with the occupants, officers determined that a passenger was failing to comply with several court orders.

Upon arrest, officers recovered suspected methamphetamines and a prohibited weapon.

Justin Jeremy Lozon, 34, of Mount Forest, was charged with possession of a prohibited device, possession of a Schedule 1 substance (methamphetamine), two counts of failing to comply with a release order and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.

He is to appear in Guelph court on May 18.
