Three men charged in shoplifting incident

FERGUS – On May 6 at about 11:55pm, Wellington County OPP responded to a reported shoplifting at a retail store on Tower Street South here.

Simardeep Singh Garcha, 43, of Brampton, was charged with theft (under $5,000), personation with intent to avoid arrest, identity fraud, two counts of possession of a stolen identity document and seven counts of possession of a stolen credit card. He is to appear in Guelph court on June 27.

Rajwinder Singh Mann, 53, of Brampton, was charged with possession of counterfeit money and possession of a Schedule I substance (cocaine). He is to appear in Guelph court on June 30.

Harjoban Singh Mannan, 23, of North York, was charged with theft (under $5,000) and is to appear in Guelph court on June 30.
