Suspicious fire destroys abandoned barn in Puslinch Township

PUSLINCH – Police and the Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating a suspicious fire that destroyed an abandoned barn here on Friday evening.

Puslinch and Guelph-Eramosa firefighters were called to the structure fire on Forestell Road in Puslinch Township at about 5:30pm on May 31.

Firefighters arrived to find the abandoned barn fully engulfed in flames.

“No one was injured, however the structure is considered a total loss,” stated a press release from the OPP.

Police say “the fire appears to be suspicious” and noted the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has been notified.
