Soleki first 2023 Hawk’s Nest investor

NEUSDADT – The Bruce Community Futures Development Corporation (Bruce CFDC) and Saugeen Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) have announced Tony Solecki, President of Caframo Ltd. is one of the  investors for the Hawks’ Nest a Dragons’ Den-inspired competition. 

This will mark Soleki’s third Hawks’ Nest appearance. His first partnership in the program was with Elly Ward, who founded the specialty website www.NoNutsAboutUs.ca, a destination shop for nut and peanut-free products. 

Soleki grew up in Vancouver and graduated from University of British Columbia with a degree in computer science and later completed his MBA at the University of Westen Ontario’s Ivey School of Business. 

Married, with two adult children, Soleki has worked for over 35 years in the design and manufacturing field, including 10 years with RBW Graphics in Owen Sound and over 25 years with Caframo, near Wiarton. Under his leadership, Caframo has grown from 20 employees in 1994 to 100 employees today

As president of Caframo, Soleki oversees all aspects of the business, including strategy, new products, marketing, and operations. Caframo designs and manufactures scientific equipment and consumer products, including laboratory overhead stirrers, specialty fans, heaters, thermoelectric fans, and thermoelectric lighting. 

Products are sold in over 40 countries worldwide.
