Sleeping Beauty coming to St. Jacobs Country Playhouse

ST. JACOBS – Feisty fairies, a malevolent villainess  and a dozy princess take over St. Jacobs this holiday season as Drayton Entertainment’s family tradition continues with a brand new panto version of the popular fairy tale Sleeping Beauty.

This fun-filled family production is already extended by popular demand and will be on stage at the St. Jacobs Country Playhouse from Nov. 27 to Dec. 29. With the production already over 85 per cent sold out, audiences are advised to get tickets as soon as possible, officials say.

This enchanting production is in the capable hands of director and choreographer David Connolly, who is credited with several past Drayton Entertainment hits including Disney’s Newsies, Annie, and the popular pantos Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella, Aladdin and Snow White.

Connolly is joined by music director Nico Rhodes who leads a band through familiar chart-topping songs by artists such as Lady Gaga, Cher, Shania Twain, Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift and many more.

Regular performance tickets are $48 for adults, $29 for youth under 20 years of age and $39 for groups of 20 or more and select discount dates. HST is applicable to all ticket prices.
