Share your space

If you’re looking for Innovation Guelph, beware, the regional innovation centre has moved. The business moved to 361 Southgate Drive in Guelph in April.

The ideal addition to this new space is the creation of what Innovation Guelph is calling Workshop@IG. This co-location offering is an option for businesses to start and grow. Many different occupants will share the same space, while saving the high costs associated with traditional office leases.

The co-location environment also encourages collaboration and information sharing among companies.

As one who has worked from home from time to time, both professionally and as a student, this sounds like a great option. We’ve all heard about university incubators but they have strict restrictions on the age of occupants, often supporting university-age entrepreneurs.

It’s refreshing to hear that an organization is stepping up, seeing a need in the community and offering a solution.
