Rural Romp: 23 venues taking part on tour on Sept. 26

The third free self guided tour of farms and markets throughout Guelph and Well­ington County known as the Rural Romp will take place Sept. 26 from 11am-4pm.

The Romp highlights local agriculture, and offers access to  23 farms and markets across region that will open their doors to the public, providing tasty farm food, entertainment, agricultural education and much more. This is an opportunity for the young and old to meet local farmers and learn first hand about how local food is grown and raised.

On the Romp people will find taste testing, guided farm tours, corn mazes, petting zoos, and more. The Wellington Rural Romp will help people find out the story behind their food.

Fill out a ballot at each location to win valuable prizes, including gift certificates.
