Police seek to identify person of interest in bank fraud complaint

ERIN – Police are looking for help to identify a “person of interest” in connection with a fraud complaint at a bank here.

Wellington County OPP officials say police commenced an investigation into the complaint on April 24.

“Surveillance photos of a person of interest have been acquired and police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them,” police stated in a Nov. 12 press release.

Anyone with information can contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a tip on-line at www.csgw.tips.

Tip providers may be eligible for a reward from Crime Stoppers of up to $2,000.
