Police looking for man who approached teen in Guelph

GUELPH – Police are looking for help to identify a man they say approached a teenaged girl “in a sexual manner.”

On Jan. 20 at about 8:45am a 16-year-old girl was walking on Pleasant Road in Guelph, “when she was approached by an adult male and propositioned in a sexual manner,” Guelph Police stated in a press release.

“The female then walked away quickly and the male did not follow.”

Police describe the man as caucasian with a darker complexion, 40 years old, about 5’8” with a slender build, possibly with facial hair and walking with a slight limp. He was wearing black Adidas track pants with stripes down both legs, a black bomber style jacket, black toque and a red bandana over his mouth and nose.
