The Ontario Early Years program here is partnering with a number of groups to bring a car seat clinic to the community on Sept. 30.
The clinic will run from 3 to 7pm at the Rockwood firehall on County Road 27.
Experts have stated that four of five children are not correctly buckled into a car seat when riding in a motor vehicle.
The clinic will provide information on proper seats and installation.
The clinic is free, but due to a high demand, this summer, food donations will be accepted at the firehall during the clinic. The partners in the event include the OPP, the province, Buckle Up Bears, and the United Way of Guelph Wellington.
