OPP investigating after coyote carcass placed near home

FERGUS – Police are seeking help to identify the person(s) responsible for placing a dead coyote on the front yard of a home here just before Christmas.

Wellington County OPP responded to a mischief call at a McTavish Street residence in Fergus on Dec. 23 at about 1:45pm.

“The complainant had located a deceased coyote propped in their front yard. Police are investigating,” states a Dec. 24 press release from the OPP.
