OPP investigates swastika graffiti at high school

Police are investigating after some disturbing graffiti was found on a wall at  the high school here.

On Nov. 17 at about 2:15pm Wellington County OPP received a report of mischief at Centre Wellington District High School on Scotland Street in Fergus.

Police say officers found three drawings that included two swastikas on the wall of the third floor boy’s bathroom. White chalk was used to draw the pictures and the graffiti was photographed prior to being removed by school staff.

“Damage to property is considered mischief, which is a criminal offence,” police stated in a press release.
